Was a powerful critique of design/cultural consciousness as politics, but it also (al least to me) revealed a lack of recognition of the kind of politial strategies NOT bound to traditions of the european avant gardes - such as that GL Boggs typifies. Anyway - Turner's lecture hit a nerve with some of our MRCC discussions. Brian - do you know his research and what do you think?
